This policy covers the Paintball Coach iOS app and this website. The app is published by PB Technology LTD.

What stays on your device

The app keeps your data in a local database on your iPhone or iPad. That includes:

• Team and player names you enter
• Field layouts you build or download
• Recorded breakouts, points, kills, eliminations and penalties
• Every analytics figure derived from the above

None of this is transmitted to us or to anyone else. We cannot read it, and we could not produce a copy of it if asked. If the app is deleted, this data is deleted with it, so use your device's own iCloud or encrypted backup if you want it preserved.

What we receive

These are tied to a randomly generated app-instance identifier, not to your name, email address or Apple ID. We do not ask for any of those, because the app has no sign-in. The identifier is reset if you delete and reinstall the app.

We do not track you. None of this data is used to follow you across other companies' apps or websites, and none of it is sold, shared with data brokers, or used for advertising.

What the app downloads

The app fetches shared field layouts and remote configuration from Firebase. These are read-only requests: the app reads what is published there and writes nothing back. As with any internet request, the servers involved receive your device's IP address in order to reply.

Payments

Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store and managed with RevenueCat. We never see your payment details — no card number, no billing address. Apple handles the transaction and tells us only whether a subscription is active. Apple's own handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because there are no accounts and nothing you record leaves your device, there is no personal information for a child to give us.

This website

This site sets no cookies. Its fonts and images are served from this domain rather than from a third party, so visiting it does not tell anyone else that you were here. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs that include IP addresses, for security and reliability.

It does count page views, using Vercel Web Analytics. That script is served from this domain too, so nothing about your visit is sent to a third-party tracker. It records the page you viewed, where you arrived from, your approximate location (country, region and city), and your browser, operating system and device type. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address against what it records, and cannot be used to follow you to any other website. Visitors are counted using a value derived from the request itself, which is discarded after 24 hours, so the figures we see are aggregate counts rather than anything tied to a person.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to how it is processed. Because the data we receive is anonymous, we usually cannot connect it to you individually — but you can:

• Turn off analytics sharing in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements
• Delete the app, which removes your recorded data and resets the anonymous identifier
• Contact us with any request at the address below

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
